To submit a photo, you must be at least 18 years
of age and a US citizen or permanent legal resident. All photos must be taken in General Sam's Offroad Park in
Huntsville, Texas. Photos may be submitted to us via e-mail along with completed submission forms. Each photo must
be listed photo submission form If you submit multiple photos, clearly indicate the file name of each photo. Photos
must be appropriate for posting on a public family web site. Obscene, provocative, or otherwise questionable content
will not be considered. General Sam's retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content. Photos
containing people must be accompanied by a signed model release form. (Word | PDF). Photos must be submitted by
the original photographer. Do not submit a photo taken by someone other than yourself. You must be the sole owner
of the copyright of any image submitted. Your submission of the photo and form is your guarantee that you are the
author and copyright holder of the photo. Photos that fail to comply with the photo guidelines will be rejected.
No financial compensation will be provided to companies and/or individuals whose photos are selected.
By submitting your photograph(s), you agree to release and hold harmless General Sam's and its employees, officers,
affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes
of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your submission, including infringement of intellectual property
rights. General Sam's and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies
assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind
arising in whole or in part from this submission.
Contact Information Release Statement
I give General Sam's permission to release my contact information (name, phone number and e-mail address) to companies
that request in writing (mail, e-mail or fax) to discuss with me the use of my photo for commercial purposes i.e.,
advertising or publication. Contact information will not be released for any other purpose. It is my sole discretion
to permit use of my photograph for any purpose other than the General Sam's Web site.
Ownership and Use Rights
Photographers retain the copyright to their photographs. By submitting your photo, photographers agree to have
their submitted photograph displayed on the General Sam's website without any fee or other form of compensation.
General Sam's may make and retain copies of the photograph for archival purposes. Posted photos will be subject
to the photo use policy. Photographs will be credited to the photographer named in the submission form. Photos
may be selected for display or use in other Web pages or publications, with permission from the photographer. Photographers
agree that General Sam's may contact them to obtain permission for use of photos in this way. Photos will never
be used by General Sam's in any manner for sale.
Ocassionaly private companies contact General Sam's to request use of a photo gallery image. On the photo submission
form photographers may agree or disagree to allow General Sam's to release their contact information to these companies
to discuss use of the photo with the photographer. If the photographer agrees, General Sam's will only release
information (name, phone number and e-mail address) to companies that send a written request (e-mail, fax or mail)
to discuss use of the image. Contact information will not be released for any other purpose. Photographers who
disagree with the Contact Information Release Statement will have their photo displayed on the General Sam's web
site, if the image is selected by General Sam's, but their contact information will not be released to outside
parties. In the event that ownership of any photograph submitted to General Sam's is contested in any manner, General
Sam's retains the discretion to reject that photograph and discontinue use of the photograph.
Digital Image Requirements
Digital images can be submitted via e-mail with the completed submission form (Word | PDF) attached. Images should
be formatted to 72 dpi, no larger than 600 by 480 pixels and no smaller than 200 by 150 pixels. Images should be
submitted in JPG (at high quality) or TIFF format. File sizes must be less than 500K per image. Images must be
in natural color. You may crop or rotate images, as necessary, as long as the rectangular format is maintained
and the size is within the specifications above.
You may resize images as long as the aspect ratio is maintained. Digital images will NOT be returned. Please do
NOT add borders, frames, watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices.
Additional Terms and Conditions
General Sam's is not responsible for computer system, hardware, software, or program malfunctions or other errors,
failures, or delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Furthermore,
General Sam's is NOT responsible for: (i) lost, misdirected, misplaced, illegible, unintelligible or incomplete
submissions or (ii) any act, failure to act, or delay regarding the transmitting or processing of entries. General
Sam's reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend all or any portion of this Photo Gallery
without notice if factors beyond General Sam's's control, including technical difficulties, disrupt or corrupt
the fair or secure administration or operation of the Photo Gallery. General Sam's is entitled to interpret these
rules as needed and its decisions are final. General Sam's reserves the right to deny any photo submission that
General Sam's has reason to believe is not the original work of entrant, or does not otherwise meet the photo guidelines.
